THE FACTS

SINGLE-MALT SCOTCH WHISKY
Only ever made from Malted Barley in copper pot stills, it is the product of an individual distillery.

JAPANESE WHISKY
Production in Japan began around in 1870 and follows the Scottish style, similar to Lowland and Speyside whiskies.

CANADIAN WHISKY
Contains some Rye. Aged at least 3 years.

FAMOUS SCOTCH WHISKY
Contains Malted Barley. Aged in oak casks at least 3 years. Made only in Scotland.

BOURBON
Contains at least 51% corn. Aged in new, charred oak barrels. Usually made in Kentucky.

IRISH WHISKEY
Aged in wood casks at least 3 years. Made in Ireland.

BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY
A mixture of both Malt Whiskies and Grain Whiskies sourced from several different distilleries.

RYE WHISKEY
Contains 51% Rye (USA) aged in new, charred oak barrels.

The palate is light, clean and delicate. A glorious finish of smoked salt and dark cocoa.

DALWHINNIE

Mellow, subtle malt yielding flavours of vanilla and honey sweetness, with a smoky Highland finish.

GLEN GARIOCH
12 years, 48%, Highlands, Est 1797
This single malt boasts a nose of soft fruits and butterscotch, full bodied with a clean, medium finish.

GLENLIVET

One of the most famous malts in the world. It has a soft smooth balance of summer fruits and floral spring flowers.

Smooth and honeyed palate, with citric fruits, malt and distinctive tones of wood smoke.

LAGAVULIN
16 years, 43%, Islay, Est 1816
An intensely flavoured smokey sweet single malt with seaweed flavours and an explosion of peppery smoke.

MACALLAN
10 years, 40%, Speyside, Est 1824
Matured in sherry oak casks from Jerez (Spain) resulting in a rich golden colour and flavour.

OLD PULTENEY
12 years, 40%, Highlands, Est 1826
Dry, medium bodied and smooth with a clean finish; faintly salty with a slight sherry note.

ARDBEG
10 years, 40%, Islay, Est 1798
Intense yet quite delicate on the palate, with burning peats and dried fruit followed by sweeter notes of malt.

BENROMACH

Rich mellow whisky with fruity and malty tones balanced with a hint of smoke.

BUNNAHABHAIN

Nutty and fruity palate, with a full-bodied and lingering,finish and a hint of vanilla and smoke.

The best of the best, a full, rich palate with malt & muted spices interplaying between sweet and savoury elements.

Full bodies, heavily pungent, smoky, sweet, full and well rounded, with some sweetness.

Classic malt and the heart of the Bowmore range. Smokey, fruity, coastal & delicious.

CAOL ILA

The expression is light and fresh with a good peppery body and a distinctive Caol Ila smoke.

DALMORE

This single malt is a toasty, coffee rich dram with beautifully spiced notes, very rich for a 12 year old.

GLENFIDDICH SPECIAL ED

Non chilled filtered and has been bottled at higher strength with added complexity and character.

GLENKINCHIE

Light delicate nose and a fresh clean aroma, the finish is smooth with a subtle hint of dryness.

Non Aged, 40%, Speyside, Est 1879
Lots of zesty rich fruits on the nose with a little vanilla & malt. The finish is long with mocha & barley finish.

ISLE OF JURA
10 years, 40%, Jura, Est 1810
Enjoys fruity undertones, with a hint of island smoke and salt air, to enrich the palette.

LONGROW PEATED
10 years, 46%, Cambletown, 1828
The peat is present and quite pungent with an earthen rootiness. The finish is long and crisp.

OBAN
14 years, 43%, Highlands, Est 1794
A fusion of the sea air character of the islands and soft, richly fruity style of the Highlands.
